«I am what is called a mother always on the move. I wanted to invent something new to satisfy this need of mine", says Licia Negri, co-founder (together with former partner Alli Beltrame] of the baby carrier brand Mhug. "For years I directed a satellite channel and I was always travelling, and off planes. But with motherhood everything became so difficult. I was looking for a way to always take my son with me even on business trips. I remember the discomfort of moving around with a pram, the acrobatics in the toilets to change a diaper. " So one day I started examining at a desk the various baby carriers used by women all over the world." The result was called Mhug, from mom + hug ("mother's hug") and is an anatomical carrier inspired by slings. of Asian women. "At the beginning the people around Licia Negri, co-founder of the Mhug brand ( www.mhug.it ). They didn't understand this project, they made fun of me. There were those who told me that the hormone the pregnancy "got to my head".' But once launched, the brand took off: 'Immediately many mothers, friends, even showbiz women, joined the baby carrier philosophy.' His life now? «Divided between my new production company Dynamis and the Mhug brand. But I'm happy. And then I like the idea of having created something that can make the lives of many mothers like me a little easier."
